(1) The local level may develop, protect, manage forests on public lands and use and sell forest products under this Act.
(2) The Division Forest Office or Sub Division Forest Office shall provide necessary technical and other support to the local level for the work as per sub-section (1).
(3) Trees planted on the banks of roads, canals and roads and trees that fall on the road and trees planted in squares, Kula springs, religious places or other sensitive places can be cut or removed after completing the prescribed procedures.
